Biography

ThankGod Omori Jesam is a native of Nigeria's Cross-River State. Omori was raised in a middle-class family in Agungi, Lagos State, Nigeria. At the age of 15, he began directing plays at his church and school. Omori's father suggested that he become a waiter because nothing at the moment was going well for him. Omori began creating videos at the young age of 16, but only began doing it professionally after graduating from Pencil Film Institute. At the time, he was Nigeria's youngest working filmmaker. He always maintained that the camera is merely a tool and not its primary maker.
